MVI46-DFCM to MDS 9710 Radio Modem
I am using a 5/03 with a MVI46-DFCM and a MDS 9710 attached to the DFCM. The issue is that the APP light will error out fairly frequently. One way to clear this is to disconnect the cable and immediately reconnect it. This will clear it up for probably five minutes or so. It will also clear by itself. The cycle continues between good --- bad --- self clears to good --- bad etc.
Obviously there is some sort of problem here. However, everything seems to be correct. It seems to me that if it were a module configuration issue, it would never work. Same for a cabling issue. Same for a modem config issue. This partial failing and correcting does not make sense.
Any suggestions?

It is probably just a timeout configuration setting issue; but it could also me a radio problem. To further investigate the former possibility, please send your ladder logic and radio network layout to support@prosoft-technology.com for additional assistance. On your end, check to be sure you have good signal strength at all times while sending data. If your signal strenght get marginal, it could cause the problems you are seeing, as well.
