MVI56-DFCM DF1 Data Mapping
I have replaced an A-B PLC5 with a CLX and am using a DFCM card to do the DF1 communications.
I'm having trouble getting the data to appear in the Database.
The DFCM is being used in slave mode. The master device was sending data to PLC5 files N97, N98, N99 and N100. I'm getting confused with the "DFCMPort - First File" and the "P2DataFileMap" parameters. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim.

First File and File size parameters are one way to get our module to emulate PLC/SLC type data tables for access to module memory from remote DF1 Masters when we our port is setup as a DF1 Slave. The File Map parameters is another way; and they are mutually exclusive. If you set File Map parameters, it overrides the standard FirstFile/File Size emulation. If you want to use First File/File Size emulation, DO NOT set any values in the File Map configuration tags.
