MVI56 MCM problem
Good day!
We have a RS485 modbus network with the MVI56 MCM module as master and 5 Murphy TTDJ annunciators as slaves. The communication is lost when the first annunciator on the network starts or stops its engine. We need to disconnect and reconnect the RJ45 jack to restart communications.
I would appreciate if you help us troubleshoot this problem.
Thank you for your time.

RE:MVI56 MCM problem
Hi,
I imagine you've resolved the problem by now, but if not - we had a similiar sounding problem (although with different slave devices) with the comms locking up - try setting the "Error Delay Counter" parameter in the port configuration - it causes the MCM to skip issuing commands to a slave after it fails to respond (after the specified number of retries) for the specified number of polls - we ended up using a value of 21.
