4205 Stops Responding For No Reason

We have a Prolinx Model 4205 (DNP ethernet slave to Modbus master) that intermittently stops responding to the DNP master requests. During the time that the Prolinx stops responding I am able to ping the Prolinx unit. Viewing the "Module Communication Statistics" through the web browser shows no DNP errors are indicated by the Prolinx unit. Eventually the DNP master will time out and begin sending reset link requests which appears to cause the Prolinx DNP slave to begin responding again.

1) What would cause the Prolinx DNP ethernet slave to stop responding to the DNP master?
2) Why doesn't the "Module Communication Statistics" screen indicate errors when this problem occurs?

Thank you.

RE:4205 Stops Responding For No Reason

On your application, is the connection from the master a tcp or udp connection. When this error occurs, what is the current state under either the tcp or udp socket status?
Also what is the configuration that you have setup for the module.
I would like to run some tests and check into this further, if you could email me your configuration for the ProLinx unit, and the version of the ProLinx module that you are using, as well as any socket status information you can provide from the debug port, I can start looking into this.
My email address is esyme@psft.com
