Ethernet TCP/IP to Modbus Gateway

I need to comunicate an A-B PLC SLC 5/05 using the ethernet port to a Serial DeltaV serie 2 card.
The Delta V is the main control system while the PLC is the controller of a vendor package.

I would like to confirm that the module 5201-DFNT-MCM is the best choice for this protocol conversion.

RE:Ethernet TCP/IP to Modbus Gateway

According to the Delta V website at this link:

http://www.easydeltav.com/pd/PDS_SerialIntSeries2.pdf

the Delta V Serial Interface Series 2 can support multiple protocols; although they do say that the standard interface is Modbus RTU/ASCII.

If your Delta V has the standard Modbus Interface, then the ProLinx Ethernet IP to Modbus Gateway, model number 5201-DFNT-MCM would be the correct gateway for that application. {Please note that the Allen-Bradley Ethernet protocol is called "Ethernet IP" and our DFNT protocol matches it. This should not be confused with Modicon's Ethernet protocol, called "Modbus TCP/IP", which matches our MNET protocol.}

If your Delta V has some other interface, we may or may not have a ProLinx Gateway solution for you.
