Which Prolinx gateway required?
Hi, I'm working on a project that has SIEMENS 315-2DP CPU. The system requires it to be monitored via radio using MODBUS ASCII protocol. The SIEMENS CP-341 only supports MODBUS RTU protocol. I'm not very familar with the Prolinx modules and need some assistance on selecting the correct option. Is the 4105-MCM-PDPS or 5105-MCM-PDPS the right choice for this application? thx

If the 315 will be configured to be a Profibus DP Master, then you have the correct part number. If, however, the 315 will be a Profibus DP Slave, then, you will need the 4104-MCM-PDPM or the 5104-MCM-PDPM Profibus DP Master module instead.
Either is capable of talking Modbus RTU or ASCII from their Modbus Serial port.
