Are there any plans in the future for interfacing with IEEE-488 devices through seiral or Ethernet/IP?

ProSoft is currently developing products that will interface to IEEE-488 devices. We will be referring to these products as "General Purpose Interface Bus" protocol, or GPIB protocol products. The first products for this protocol will be introduced in out inRAx line of MVI modules. At present, offical release of these products is several months away. Please keep an eye on our website for news of their release.

RE:IEEE-488
At the time of my previous response, the MVI56-GPIB module was under development. Due to shifting market priorities, this module is no longer being actively developed but the GPIB protocol is still included on a list of protocols that may developed at some time in the future, if demand for it increases.
